OSHO says:
*
the mind goes on and on. It starts working in childhood and goes on working til you die. Seventy, eighty years, continuously working - so much work, and then you cannot expect anything great out of it because it is utterly tired. it has no energy left; it is leaking from everywhere.
*
if you can turn it off ... that's what meditation is all about, turning the mind off, the art of switching the mind off. if you can switch it off, it will gather energy.
*
if for a few hours every day you are without the mind, you will gather so much energy that that energy will keep you young fresh, creative. that energy will allow you to see reality, the beauty of existence, the joy of life, the celebration.
*
Thanks, Suss, for loving with me tonight. Thank you for listening for a quiet mind, if only for a moment to consider it possible!
Thanks, WE ~ Love, ME.

my space
levels of self flowing by letting go.
i am the heaven i seek.
ahhhuummmmmmmmmmm ...
wow! Robert Venose - Ayahuasca Dream.
this is a great chance to practice I health. focus beyond something - your nose, perhaps. now behind your eyes. stretch forward thru space to wrap up and tap you in the back-sight. ok, ready for more? with your eyes balls do a clock motion at 15 minute intervals. do this to the absolute edge of you. now go past covered times to turn round back beyond a beginning. do this at will. for an extra spacious move - keep your eyes closed to see behind you. thru time, of course.

to quote from one of my favorite movies, Amelie:
"You can't be a vegetable,
because even an artichoke has a heart."
here it is...proof positive!
********************************
fyi...i just found out that cutting the
top off the artichoke and steaming it
upside down works rather fabulously!
i cut down on my cooking time by half
and enjoyed my lunch early enough
to catch a nap!
chop! chop!

au•ra n. An invisible breath, emanation, or radiation.
when i first heard the word AURA i was in awe!
what a beautiful set of letters, effortlessly flowing as a
sacred sigh beyond me to the ethers of time.
aura!
aura!
aura!
easily spoken, more challenging to see, the aura
eluded me. it was for me to believe, to know,
to accept and release without visual confirmation.
then one day nature revealed her invisible breath.
she called me out to see her soul
living
breathing
loving
just beyond the edge of matter,
resting in the light of time she
glows larger than life.
ahhhhhh.......RA!

Just beyond our borders roamed Shadow,
often crossing paved paths to share time
romping and tromping all over creation
with our very own, in-house Divine canine,
Cami.
Gabriel took his turns loving and running
with Shadow. Alas, dogs run faster than little
boys which often left Gabriel choking in the
dust of their excited play.
Shadow, ever lurking at perimeters edge,
seeking a nod, a gaze, an invitation to play,
is now gone. He lost a race against a far faster
opponent than Cami - a car. Seems an
unfair match, eh?
We are gone, too...both exiting our
posts as guardians of McCormick Hill,
simultaneously.
We left by choice. Shadow left by chance.
Either way we each leave our mark,
our essence, our memory for time
to recall...
even as we fade away with the shadows.
************************************
In loving memory of our friend, Shadow,
and our time shared on the Hill.
Here's to a dog-gone good time! ;)

what happens when the shadow chases the Self?
psychosis? schizophrenia? or perhaps an
opportunity to assess reality.
captured above is gabriel as he discovers
it impossible to catch his own attentions,
unaware that his image is past the point of
instant alteration, only a memory on a tell-a-vision...
a past self projected NOW.
excited and intrigued, he called out to '"himself",
called LOUDER, then hit the screen,
turned it off, and eventually left in disgust.
chasing himself lost its luster when there
was no response.
until gabriel is able to discern between mirrors
and mirages he will remain frustrated and
feeling helpless.
perhaps this is true for me, as well.
how many times have i mistaken my shadow
for self, errantly endeavoring to alter an
image without realizing i am creating
it anew through every moment spent in pursuit?
oooyvay!
*******************************************
peter pan met the darlings chasing his
rebellious shadow as it dodged and darted
to avoid capture. wendi, daring to darn it into
in place, proved all seperations can be mended.
maybe gabe is pan and i am wendi and time
is my mending instrument...sew on and so on.

remember a time of bliss.
remember how it feels to be
in a wake of perfection -
all possibilities quietly
flowing, growing, knowing
infinite peace.
now imagine this waking perfection
as earthly essences messengering
choice, divinity and grace.
at first glance,
choice may seem black and white,
wrong or right...this or that.
choice also meanders in the
shades between dark and light...
offering deeper insight, finer detail -
more depth and understanding.
choice is recognizing the greys.
or grace.
grace is an ever expanding etheric edge
connecting divinity and choice.
grace is what seperates dimensions,
allowing an intimate inkling
of One being many...transparently
connecting now to now.
enter divinity.
as above, so below.
as within, so without.
as the universe, so the soul
divine is one who remembers
to edge in close enough to
appreciate waking choice...
one who honors the shades of grace
and celebrates NOW.
so mote it be!
